Rare Delaware Earthquake Rattles U.S. Northeast Coast

Signs of the Last Days® MinistryNews

A rare earthquake has jolted the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.East Coast prompting some to flee offices and homes.

The U.S. Geological Service said the 4.1 magnitude quake was centered about 6 miles east-northeast of Dover, Delaware with people from Washington and New York City reporting the shaking to the USGS.

Paul Caruso, a geophysicist with the USGS’s earthquake information center in Colorado said that he and other seismologists don’t ever remember an earthquake in Delaware.

The quake jolted the downtown area of the state capital, Dover, sending lawmakers into the streets and in Baltimore the jolt was strong enough to send some people streaming out of buildings and into the streets.

For many area residents this earthquake event stirred memories of a magnitude 5.8 earthquake that rocked much of the eastern United States in August 2011. The impact of that quake included damage to the Washington Monument and National Cathedral in Washington which are both still undergoing repairs.

These are Signs of the Last Days prophecies of Jesus Christ who foretold in Matthew 24 that diverse earthquakes would be a sign indicating the Last Days of the end of this age.
