The Roman Vatican summoned the envoys of both Israel and the United States for meetings to oppose Israel’s plans to assert sovereignty over Judea within the framework of Trump’s ‘Deal of the Century’.

In two separate meetings, the Vatican Secretary of State warned the US Ambassador and the Israeli Ambassador of the possibility of war over the annexation of Judea.

This was a highly unusual move by the Vatican, in summoning both the US and Israeli ambassadors to express the Pope’s concern about Israel’s moves to extend its sovereignty to Jewish settlements of the Jordan Valley in the West Bank.

The meetings were between Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, and US Ambassador Callista Gingrich and then Israeli Ambassador Oren David.

The Vatican’s top diplomat expressed there was “concern of the Holy See regarding possible unilateral actions that may further jeopardize the search for peace between Israelis and Palestinians, as well as the delicate situation in the Middle East.”

Israeli leaders decided in May that cabinet and parliamentary deliberations on extending Israeli sovereignty to Jewish settlements and the Jordan Valley in the West Bank, in coordination with Washington, could begin as of July 1.

The Vatican in a statement reiterated its position in support of a two state solution, saying “Israel and the State of Palestine have the right to exist and to live in peace and security, within internationally recognized borders.”

The Vatican wants to reopen the process of direct negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians on the basis of UN resolutions.

Jordan’s King Abdullah has also warned of war between his country and Israel if the Jewish state proceeds with annexing the West Bank as detailed in US President Trump’s Middle East plan.

And what is known today as the West Bank is also Biblical Judea. And this Judea, or the West Bank, is the same one Jesus calls out in His Last Days prophecies in Matthew 24 and Luke 21 as the place the Jews will have to flee at a time of war.

When the Anti-christ invades Judea and surrounds Jerusalem with his armies and commits the abomination of desolation at the Jewish Temple Holy Place.

The Biblical Prophecies of Jesus (Matthew 24, Luke 21) show that the environment forming up now around Judea in the Holy Land, calling for peace which ultimately ends in Anti-christ war, is a sign indicating the nearing end of this age of grace.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
