The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has made a ruling in favor of state governments having power over churches in an emergency as Covid-19.

This was a huge ruling with major ramifications for Christian churches that connects to the Prophecy of Jesus in the Bible that trouble will come in the Last Days for His believers.

Churches in liberal states and cities such as in California, were closed and then forced to stay closed as even malls were allowed to re-open.

As the bishop of one church described it, he could bump shoulders with his congregants at the shopping mall, but he can’t minister to them in a safe and sanitary church sanctuary.

The churches in California wanted to be treated at least equally to comparable secular businesses and for the state to stop discriminating against them violating their fundamental constitutional rights.

So a California church first filed a request for a restraining order against the State of California’s church services ban. But the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals denied their request.

Then the church filed an emergency motion asking the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling.

But in a 5 to 4 vote, with Chief Justice Roberts being with the liberals on the court, SCOTUS refused the church’s request and supported the state of California in their restrictions on churches and ban of gatherings.

With the ruling effectively giving the state government power over churches, and the power to discriminate against them in a declared emergency by the government.

This was huge. Why? Because it sets legal precedent. Which in the discipline of law means everything.

This Supreme Court ruling in this case gives the state government power over churches and the right to discriminate against them.

And four Supreme Court Justices agreed with us. Justice Kavanaugh said the California policy “indisputably discriminates against religion.”

Justice Kavanaugh in writing the dissent said, “The church and its congregants simply want to be treated equally to comparable secular businesses. California already trusts its residents and any number of businesses to adhere to proper social distancing and hygiene practices.”

“The state cannot,” Justice Kavanaugh wrote, “‘assume the worst when people go to worship but assume the best when people go to work or go about the rest of their daily lives in permitted social settings.’”

“I would grant the Church’s requested temporary injunction because California’s latest safety guidelines discriminate against places of worship and in favor of comparable secular businesses. Such discrimination violates the First Amendment,” Kavanaugh wrote. “Absent a compelling justification (which the State has not offered), the State may not take a looser approach with, say, supermarkets, restaurants, factories, and offices while imposing stricter requirements on places of worship.”

The state of California had deemed business as liquor stores and others as essential allowing them to be open but churches had been deemed as dangerous places by the state and ordered closed.

We cannot over-emphasize how this sets precedent which in legal discipline is huge, for it opens the flood gate in the future for satan as the god of this world to attack the Church of Jesus Christ.

The government can now declare an emergency of whatever sort and then dictate to church groups what they can or cannot do — that is exactly what’s happening now like in California.

And the government can now say that some religious expressions are dangerous for the public well-being and so restricted — again, that’s what’s happening now as seen in this post.

Now in America the government can force you to do something, including stopping church, and what’s next?

This doesn’t just create Big Brother for the churches but it also creates Big Brother for the public at large.

You don’t want to take a vaccine for personal conscientious reasons that the government says is for the public good?  You’re legally out of luck. You get the vaccine like the government tells you or bad things will happen to you.

Whatever the government says is not good for you, that is now what they have the power to make you stop — like going to church, or praying or singing out loud.

And who will determine what is next unhealthy for you, or a “dangerous expression” for the public? … maybe because it is not in what the mainstream society and media consider acceptable? And by the way, the mainstream media is now the liberal media who are inherently anti-Bible.

What’s next? Who’s next? If liberal government deem it as non-essential and dangerous to the public health, then the government can now outlaw it.

This is how it begins. A storm of trouble is coming for the Biblical Church in the Last Days just as in the Early Days.

But just as satan made the mistake back then thinking he was killing the Christ and ending His group of followers, this Last Days tribulation of the Bible Church too will result in spreading the gospel of the kingdom with it preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations.

Then the end will come. That’s what Jesus said (Matthew 24:9-14).

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
