Islamic quarters are calling Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel nothing less than a ‘Declaration of War’ against the Muslim world.
The Palestinians’ chief representative to Britain said U.S. President Donald Trump is effectively making a declaration of war as he recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
He said Trump is declaring war in the Middle East, he is declaring war against 1.5 billion Muslims … that are not going to accept the holy shrines to be totally under the hegemony of Israel.
Also, the Palestinian prime minister said Trump’s recognition of contested Jerusalem as Israel’s capital will “destroy the peace process and the two-state solution.”
Additionally, the Organization for Islamic Cooperation has accused Trump of “naked aggression” against Muslims and called on its 57 member states to sever ties with the U.S. for recognizing the holy city of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
And a number of Muslim nations, including Jordan and Turkey, have strongly condemned Trump’s move.
Already the protests, riots, and violence are beginning across the Muslim Middle East against the U.S. and Israel over the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
