We live in the time when the prophetic signs, like rumors of war, pestilence, and others, that Jesus prophesied would happen before the end will come, are now diversely manifesting in the world.
And there is now in the prophetic mix another sign in the heavens, where this weekend a rare solar eclipse will happen in the Middle East over the Holy Land.
It is an annular solar eclipse which occurs when the Moon covers the Sun’s center, leaving the Sun’s visible outer edge to form a “ring of fire” or “annulus” around the Moon. (The word “annular” comes from the Latin word for ring.)
During an annular solar eclipse, the Moon in front of the Sun looks like a dark disk on top of a larger sun-colored disk. This creates what looks like a “ring of fire” around the Moon.
But this annular eclipse on June 21, 2020, will be unusual and special in that the “ring” is expected to be very thin as the Moon will obscure up to 99% of the Sun’s disc, nearly a total eclipse, making it the “deepest” annular eclipse of the century according to experts.
So unlike most annular solar eclipses, it’s expected to go pretty dark when the ‘ring of fire’ is completed, and there may be odd animal behavior, and some points of light or beads around the moon, occurring because of light flowing through the lunar landscape.
Also in a striking convergence, the occurrence of the 2020 summer solstice, known as a time for the rising of the dark powers to its pagan adherents, will also intersect with this major annular solar eclipse.
And some believe it’s more than a coincidence, and is a harbinger of end-times chaos as a phenomenon occurs with the “deepest” annular solar eclipse of the century converging with the summer solstice.
When events occur in the heavens where the sun, the most powerful physical phenomena at the center of our solar system and in our sky, is seemingly suddenly extinguished and the strange twilight comes at an unearthly time, it seems like apocalyptic chaos is possible and could be eerily near.
Ancient rulers feared eclipses. As they believed eclipses were an omen of chaos and death.
Including Alexander the Great, where he would temporarily step down with the throne given to a substitute until an eclipse would pass. Then Alexander would return to his throne, with rulers thinking of this as a kind of hedge for protection of their life.
In the history of humanity, there has been a close relationship between eclipses, kings, and nations. A number of popes and monarchs have had major events happen in their wake.
King Henry I of England, the son of William the Conqueror, died in A.D. 1133, at the event of a solar eclipse. Pope John Paul II was born and was buried on days when there were solar eclipses.
And King Louis XIV of France, known as the “sun king” who had chose the solar sphere as his emblem, died just after an eclipse hung in the skies above Paris.
Also, the years of America’s revolutionary war and civil war were both marked by heavenly signs and were a time of turmoil and conflict.
In 1776 there was a sign in the heavens of a solar eclipse that occurred over America marking when it entered into the revolutionary war. And in 1861 when America was entering into the Civil War, the Great Comet of 1861 heralded the start of the American Civil War that came to be known as “The War Comet.”
Then in the year 2017, there was another heavenly sign for America when the Great American Solar Eclipse brought darkness across the land.
It also marked the year the current President was sworn in starting this administration which recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and moved the US embassy there.
But has also seen some of the greatest chaos in recent US history with the President calling the US military into Washington DC to control riots.
Now, after a new peace plan for the Mid-East released in 2020 by this administration has caused consternation in the region, and the upcoming 2020 US presidential election amidst new levels of division and incivility in America, we also have in 2020 this rare and unusual solar eclipse over the Mid-East.
Jesus said in His Biblical prophecies (Luke 21) there would be signs in the heavens, in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars, happening at the time when nations on earth would experience distress with perplexity.
These events and conditions are happening now as warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
